FISH FINGER

INGREDIENTS

11/2 -2 kg fish chopped in long slices
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 egg (optional)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 tsp red chilli(optional)
2 cup Maida
1 cup cornflour
3 cups breadcrumbs
oil for deep frying

METHOD

Clean fish and keep it in stainer for 10 minutes. Break one egg, add ginger-garlic paste, salt, pepper, red chilli in it. Marinate fish with egg batter and keep it in freezer for 20 minutes.
In other bowl, add maida, cornflour, salt, pepper and red chiili, make batter of medium consistency. Take out the fish from freezer. Heat oil in. In a flat plate spread breadcrumbs. Dip fish pieces in maida and roll it in breadcrumbs. Deep fry. Serve hot with onion and chutney or sauce.

WHILE BUYING FISH YOU CAN GET IT CUT IN FINGER SHAPE, AS I DID

1. In a bowl, take washed fish, add salt and pepper, red chilli(optional)












2. Add one egg.












3. In a bowl, take 2 cups maida.













4. Add 1 cup cornflour.













5. Add salt, pepper, ginger-garlic paste.














6. Add water to make medium consistency batter.












7. Take 4-5 pieces of bread and grind it to make powder.





















8. Spread bread crumbs on a flat plate.






















9. Heat oil in a pan.




















10. Dip fish finger in maida batter.




















12. Coat it in bread crumbs.












13. Deep fry in hot oil.













14. ENJOY yummy hot fish fingers.
