It is even good for pregnant women and works as anti-ageing and makes bones stronger specially for women.It's very difficult to feed kids with beetroot in it's pure form as they don't like to eat it in salad. So this recipe is particularly dedicated to those who don't like beetroot specially kids. I bet if you feed kids beetroot in this way, they will love it.Here I have used homemade one minute khoya as I don't like to buy from market. You can try more halwa recipes like: special suji halwa, papaya halwa, gajar halwa, shakarkandi halwa, makki ke atte ka halwa, Atte ka halwa, Moong dal halwa. INGREDIENTSI kg Beetroot2 glass milk 1 cup milkmaid1 cup sugar1 tbsp grounded cardamom1/2 cup homemade khoya/mawanuts of your choice METHODGrate beetroot. In a pan, cook beetroot till water evaporates completely. Add milk, cardamom and cook till milk dries up, now add milkmaid and sugar and cook till it becomes dry. Garnish with roasted nuts and add grated homemade khoya. Serve hot.
